I LOVE BERLIN campaign website
Is not just a City, its a LifeStyle!
Task
When nobody had yet thought of an image campaign for Berlin, we had the idea of initiating and implementing our very own Berlin campaign. Within this framework, We public developed a website that matched the campaign.
Our solution
The I LOVE BERLIN campaign website was to convey the Berlin attitude towards life. Berlin inhabitants and also of course those outside of the city were thus able to post their very own Berlin slogan. In addition, the activities were presented as part of the campaign such as for instance "Ersteigere einen Berliner" ("Auction a Berliner") or the series of events "I LOVE BERLIN". Partners and sponsors have a prominent placement as does the I LOVE BERLIN t-Shirt that matches the campaign.
Campaign profile
Within the framework of the I LOVE BERLIN city campaign, fans were able to "buy" at auction on ebay, under the motto "Ersteigere einen Berliner" ("Buy a Berliner at auction") celebrities such as DSDS star Francisca Urio, the actress Anne-Sophie Briest and "Tatort" superintendent Oliver Mommsen for a good cause. The celebrities offered to show their "buyers" their very own personal Berlin. In addition to a day together with one's favourite celebrity, the offer included an entire weekend in the "Cityflitzer" with chauffeur, hotel accommodation and VIP admission to the hippest parties in the city. A total of 1,788 euros was collected, half of which was given to the SOS children's villages worldwide and half to Berliner Tafel e.V.. This hitherto unique activity was initiated and implemented by We public.
